An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36") (Learn More) You Never Can Tell, the 1951 Lou Breslow German Shepherd canine dog romantic fantasy comedy ("A picture for people who think they've seen EVERYTHING!"; about an eccentric millionaire who leaves his fortune to a German Shepherd dog, but then the dog is poisoned; fortunately, he is reincarnated as a human detective, and he not only brings his killer to justice, but he also protects, and no doubt falls in love with, the girl who cared for him when he was a dog!) starring Dick Powell, Peggy Dow, Joyce Holden, Charles Drake, Albert Sharpe, and Flame (the German Shepherd dog). Flame is a pretty much forgotten canine star of the 1940s and 1950s (and he was actually the third dog star named "Flame"), but he appeared in 17 movies starting with 1946's "My Dog Shep", and he also starred in "My Dog Rusty", and he appeared in several movies as Shep and as Rusty between 1946 and 1951. In 1952, he made a single appearance in the 1952 TV series "Cowboy G-Men", and then in 1954, he had another single appearance in TV's "The Life of Riley", at which point he retired.
