The poster had tape stains in the center of the top border extending into the background. It had small tears and tiny paper loss on parts of the folds and in parts of the borders. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above.
