An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) John Landis is a director from the 1970s to the 2010s. He is the director of both Blues Brothers movies. He was charged with involuntary manslaughter for the death of two children and veteran actor Vic Morrow on the set of Twilight Zone: The Movie, after he broke several labor laws, but was eventually acquitted. Some of Landis's other movies include Animal House, Three Amigos, and An American Werewolf in London Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by John Landis! Note that this item was consigned to us by a man who has been a major movie memorabilia dealer from the 1980s on. During that time, he would regularly purchase collections of movie memorabilia from both dealers and collectors, and in some of those collections he purchased autographed items. Both we and our consignor feel it is quite likely that the autograph on this item is authentic, but he does not have a certificate of authenticity. Also note that this still appears in every way to be original U.S. release EXCEPT that there is one very tiny line of French type in the lower right. It reads, "IMPRIME AUX ETATS-UNIS D'AMERIQUE". A collector has told us that he believes this means the still was used in French speaking parts of Canada, but it was printed in the U.S., and that makes complete sense to us! So it is an original still from , but it was printed for use in parts of Canada. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: very good to fine.
