An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) The Whistle, the 1921 Lambert Hillyer silent family relationship melodrama ("Written by Lambert Hiller from a story by May Wilmoth & Olin Lyman"; like all William Hart movies, this has a very complicated plot about a man who works in a mill, and he begs the owner to upgrade the equipment, and the owner refuses, and then the man's son is killed in an accident; the man coincidentally rescues the infant son of the owner from a car crash, and he kidnaps the baby, intending to raise the boy as his own, to replace his lost son; but when he sees how the owner and his wife are completely grief stricken, he confesses and returns the child to them) starring William S. Hart, Frank Brownlee, Myrtle Stedman, Georgie Stone, and Will Jim Hatton NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper items from this movie are incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned two scene cards, a still, and a glass slide from this movie (and NO other movie paper) until we received this title card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. There are nail holes, creases, and stains in the top corners, with a few smudges and scuffs within the image area.
