An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Jack and the Beanstalk, the 1952 Jean Yarbrough Abbott and Costello fairy tale fantasy slapstick comedy ("Be happy go wacky!"; "Jack-the-Giant-killer's a lady killer now!"; "Warner Bros.' Super-Hilarity Hit in Super Cine Color"; "Their first picture in color! The last word in laughs!"; "'The man sold me some phony beans!'"; VERY loosely based on the classic children's fairy tale) starring Bud Abbott, Lou Costello (in the title role as Jack), Buddy Baer (as the giant!), Dorothy Ford, Shaye Cogan, James Alexander, and Barbara Brown NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm]. Also note that this still appears in every way to be original U.S. release EXCEPT that there is one very tiny line of French type in the lower right. It reads, "IMPRIME AUX ETATS-UNIS D'AMERIQUE". A collector has told us that he believes this means the still was printed for use in areas that included French-speaking parts of Canada, but that it WAS printed in the U.S., and that makes complete sense to us! So it is an original still from 1952, but it was printed partially for use in French-speaking Canada. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: very good. The still has slightly darkened but is otherwise in nice condition! Learn More about condition grades
