(Learn More) A Countess from Hong Kong, the 1967 Charles Chaplin (who also wrote the script and composed the music) English/U.S. romantic comedy ("A brilliant gay comedy romance - full of fun!"; "Actually they're perfect strangers... [imagine if they were close friends!]"; "Hilarious... touching... a very great movie!") starring Marlon Brando, Sophia Loren (in the title role as Countess Natascha), Sydney Chaplin, Tippi Hedren, Patrick Cargill, Margaret Rutherford, and Charlie Chaplin (in a cameo role). Note that after this movie did not do well at the box office, Charlie Chaplin retired (although he lived for ten more years, he did not make another movie, either as an actor or as a director). Often, changes would be made in a movie advertising campaign (billing of actors, different images, etc.), and the theaters would print up special supplements that they would send out with the pressbooks that had already been printed.
