Devambez French War Posters, the 1920s (or late 1910s) French poster featuring reproductions of World War I (WWI) Home Front/War Bond posters printed by Devambez. Original poster artists include Abel Faivre, Francisque Poulbot, Georges Redon, Jean Droit, and more! Maison Devambez is a printer in Paris which was founded in 1873. At first the firm specialized in heraldic engraving, engraved letterheads and invitations, but they widened the scope of the business to include advertising and publicity, artists' prints, limited edition books, and an important art gallery. This poster may have been removed from a book or was part of a collection of prints. If anyone knows more about this poster, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Condition: good to very good. The poster was trimmed from another sized item (see above) and someone taped paper to the back of the left edge (see our image). It has some scuffs and smudges around the edges as well as a few creases and some tiny dot stains.
