An Original Vintage Unfolded World War I Poster (measures 20" x 30" [51 x 76 cm]) (Learn More)

For Your Boy, the 1918 U.S. World War I (WWI) Home Front poster ("Y.M.C.A."; "United War Work Campaign November 11-18, 1918") encouraging citizens to volunteer for the YMCA (Young Men's Christian Association), and featuring Arthur William Brown art of a volunteer pouring a drink for a soldier! Note that at this time the United War Work Campaign was tasked to collect 170 million dollars in donations for the war effort.

Condition: good to very good. The poster has creases, tears of varying lengths (generally 1" or less but some are larger) and paper loss along portions of some edges (most affect blank white paper only but there is a diagonal crease at lower left that has also been repaired with tape from the back). It is otherwise in pretty nice condition and after a pretty simple linenbacking the poster will look great!
