He first appeared in the cartoon short Steamboat Willie which was one of the first cartoons with synchronized sound and the first cartoon to feature a fully post-produced soundtrack. He was massively merchandised in the 1930s, and was a major part of the success of the Walt Disney studio. After his starring role in Fantasia (in the Sorcerer's Apprentice sequence), his popularity waned somewhat, but he remained the mascot of the studio, and has always been central to the studio (for example, Disney had a "Mickey Mouse Club" TV show where the children wore mouse ears). AND Minnie Mouse is an animated animation cartoon character created in 1928 by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks. She is the girlfriend of the Mickey Mouse character and first appeared in the cartoon short Steamboat Willie which was one of the first cartoons with synchronized sound and the first cartoon to feature a fully post-produced soundtrack. She has appeared in many animated works such as Plane Crazy, The Cactus Kid, and Mickey's Christmas Carol If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: very good. There is a tiny piece of tape on the upper edge (see our image) but overall the poster is in pretty nice condition. Learn More about condition grades
