My name is Miss Barrett. I am your Home Room teacher...'"; "The year's #1 best seller picks you up and never lets you down."; "The first mistake the pretty young teacher made was to get off the bus. The second was to walk into Coolidge High School for the first time. The third was to fall in love with it."; "Based on the novel by Bel Kaufman") starring Sandy Dennis (billed as "Academy Award winner Sandy Dennis"), Eileen Heckart, Ruth White, Jean Stapleton, Sorrell Booke, Roy Poole, and Patrick Bedford. Note that there is a large credit on the one-sheet poster that reads, "Sandy Dennis' makeup by Warner Bros. Cosmetics"! I wonder what that is all about! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that these stills appear in every way to be original U.S. release EXCEPT that there is one very tiny line of French type in the lower right of each still. It reads, "IMPRIME AUX ETATS-UNIS D'AMERIQUE". A collector has told us that he believes this means the stills were printed for use in areas that included French-speaking parts of Canada, but that they WERE printed in the U.S., and that makes complete sense to us! So they are original stills from 1967, but they were printed partially for use in French-speaking Canada. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.
