A 2000 Re-Release (re-titled "A Matter of Life and Death" for this re-release) Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Advance British Quad Movie Poster (BQ; Quad Crown; measures 30" x 40" [76 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) A Matter of Life and Death (released in the U.S. in 1947 as "Stairway to Heaven"), the classic 1946 Michael Powell & Emeric Pressburger English afterlife fantasy romantic melodrama ("In New Chromatic Technicolor!"; a fascinating movie; the early scenes are in color and then, artfully, the scenes in heaven are in black and white, kind of reverse from the usage of color in The Wizard of Oz) starring David Niven, Raymond Massey, Roger Livesey, Kim Hunter, Marius Goring, and Robert Coote. Note that American Kim Hunter played a lead role in this film, and she was the first American actress to appear in an English movie after World War II ended. Important Added Info: Note that this is an advance British quad (note the "Starts March 24th 2000" at the bottom of the poster). Condition: very good to fine.
