You listen to the official beefs about 'personal misconduct,' 'disruptive influence,' you figure he's got to be up for trade. But when some rare Chicago blood starts spilling in San Francisco, they give Bullitt the mop. They weren't exactly doing him a favor. But they've done a great big one for you."; "Detective Lt. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned two examples of this three-sheet, and only one in the last 9 years, when it sold for $4,521! Also note that this three-sheet has a completely different (and far better) image from the one-sheet, and it makes far better use of the space than the six-sheet, and many collectors feel this is THE poster to own from this classic movie! Also note that this three-sheet was printed in 2 sections designed to overlap. Condition: very good. The poster was attached to a wall with tape on the back of the corners of each section (and in the center of the borders of the larger section), and when the poster was removed from the wall, the tape mostly all came off, but it took off some surface paper from the back of the poster in those areas, making the paper "thinner", but not affecting the front of the poster. When you look closely at the poster, you can see signs of those areas, but after the poster is linenbacked, that will no longer be true. And other than this, and some darkening on the back of the part of the poster that was on the outside when it was fully folded (which has little effect on the front), the poster is in really nice condition, with no restoration, and it will display wonderfully on the new owner's wall once it is backed.
