The spot so hot it sizzles with excitement!"; "Based on an Original Story by Manchester Boddy") starring Spencer Tracy ("The Smuggler"), James Stewart (Jimmy Stewart; "The Adventurer"), Valentina Cortesa ("The Half-Caste"), Sydney Greenstreet ("The Dutchman"), John Hodiak ("The Government Man"), Lionel Barrymore ("The Big Wheel"), and Roland Winters NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has one of the oddest "restorations" we have ever seen. The poster is the top half of a Malaya one-sheet, which also had all its borders trimmed off, and someone decided to "restore" it by gluing the poster over a half-sheet, and adding the title section from the lower part of the one-sheet, thus making a "half-sheet" out of it, even though it has the top half of the one-sheet image! In this case, the half-sheet poster used was for "Bambuti", a 1959 poster, and they did not bother to change the borders, so it still has the information for "Bambuti" printed in the bottom! There is no way this was done by a professional, so it was surely done at a poster exchange where they needed a Malaya half-sheet for a theater (in 1959 or later), and they "married" these two posters! Note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: poor. This "poster" was created by taking half of a trimmed one-sheet for Malaya and gluing it over a half-sheet for Bambuti, and adding the title from the lower half of the one-sheet (see above). It also has a Canadian censor stamp and numerous other defects. Please do not bid on this poster unless you want this! Learn More about condition grades
