An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More)

Cecil B. DeMille's The Squaw Man, the 1931 Cecil B. DeMille Native American Indian romantic love triangle cowboy western ("Cecil B. DeMille's greatest dramatic triumph!"; "He sacrificed even his honor to the desire of his love-mad soul!"; based on the play by Edwin Milton Royle; a story of a cousin of an English nobleman, who nobly takes the blame for something his cousin did wrong, and he leaves England in disgrace and goes to the American West, where he ends up marrying a Native American Indian woman, but then he learns that his cousin has died, and he can return to England and gain the title, and he always loved his cousin's widow, but will he leave the life he has built for himself and his Native American wife?) starring Warner Baxter, Lupe Velez, Eleanor Boardman, Charles Bickford, Roland Young, Paul Cavanagh, and Dickie Moore. Note that this movie was a remake by director DeMille of his classic 1918 movie of the same name.

Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).

Condition: very good. Someone cut out the bottom blank area where a theater would put its show dates and wrote in new play dates in the resulting blank area (this is not that uncommon with glass slides), but otherwise, the slide is in nice condition.
