A Linenbacked Swiss Travel Poster (measures 25 1/2" x 39 3/4" [65 x 101 cm]) (Learn More) Lausanne Ouchy, the circa 1930s Swiss travel poster encouraging people to visit the Swiss city of Lausanne and Ouchy (a port and a popular lakeside resort south of the center of Lausanne). Note that this poster features artwork of the Ancienne Academie overlooking Lausanne Artist: LEM Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster was never folded. It had many smudges, scuffs, and stains scattered in the top half, more so in the solid blue areas. It had pinholes, tears, and paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but you can clearly see signs of the above defects and the restoration of the above defects.
