Note that Astor Pictures, which had been known for mostly re-releasing classic U.S. movies in the 1940s and 1950s, acquired the rights for the first American release of this classic Italian movie, which they released on April 19, 1961. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this partially Italian movie! Condition: very good. The poster was folded once in each direction and there were creases, tiny vertical tears, and tiny areas of surface paper loss across the center of the poster, and a much lesser amount down the vertical foldline. There were some scuffs scattered through the image and pinholes in the corners, and some creases and small tears in the borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, and the person who did the backing did very minimalist restoration to the above defects, but the linenbacking process greatly reduced how noticeable the creases and scuffs are, and the poster displays well!
