If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has been personally autographed (signed) by Gunnar Hansen (he added "Leatherface")! Our consignor obtained this autograph in person at a Scandinavian sci-fi game & film convention in Gothenburg in 2014. He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are certain the signature is authentic. This film had a difficult time getting a theatrical release in Australia. The Australian Film Review Board banned the movie for being too violent when it was first submitted for classification in 1975. It was submitted four more times (often with significant edits) from 1975 to 1981 but all were banned as well. Finally, in January of 1984, the film was given an R rating and approved for a theatrical release in Australia. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
