Johnston"; a clever story of a small girl who is kidnapped, and 18 years later, her mother gets pneumonia and is dying, and her husband wants to see her die happily, so he hires a dance hall girl to pose as his long lost daughter, so his wife's last days will be very happy; but seeing her "lost daughter" causes her to recover, and the girl is faced with endlessly pretending to be someone she is not, and complicating the story is a rich young man who is in love with her, and the sleazy ex-boyfriend she used to have!) starring Sally Eilers, Ray Milland (billed as "Raymond Milland"), Juanita Quigley (playing Mary Dow as a child, billed as "Baby Jane"), Katharine Alexander, Lola Lane, Henry O'Neill, and Clarence Muse. Note that this was one of many movies Ray Milland made at the beginning of his career, where he was either uncredited or credited as "Raymond Milland". A year later, he would start to get starring roles, and he would become a major star over the next decade! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
