An Original Vintage Theatrical Kraftbacked Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27 1/4" x 39 1/2" [69 x 100 cm]) (Learn More) Fun On the Farm, the 1926 silent fishing slapstick comedy starring Sammy Burns. Note that Sammy Burns was a stage and screen performer, producer, and teacher in the 1910s to 1920s. He started in vaudeville and later ventured into silent films, becoming Mutual Film Corporation's first star with the Vogue brand. Despite his efforts, Burns' film career did not flourish as expected. He transitioned back to vaudeville, producing shows, and eventually retired, although details of his life are scarce. Important Added Info: Note that movie paper from this film is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single movie paper item from this movie until we were consigned this poster! Note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 27 1/4" x 39 1/2" [69 x 100 cm]. Also note that this poster has been kraftbacked, which means it was backed onto a brown paper soon after it was printed (this process is called "kraft-backing", and posters with it are called "kraft-backed"). One could have it professionally removed from the kraft paper and linenbacked, and it would look great! Condition: fair to good. The poster was slightly trimmed and then kraftbacked (see above). It has some surface paper loss and paper loss on the folds and in the borders. It can be removed from the kraftbacking and restored, but bear the above in mind and look at our super-sized image before bidding. Learn More about condition grades
