An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) Bought, the 1931 Archie Mayo pre-Code family relationship father/daughter romantic love triangle melodrama ("Based on the novel 'Jackdaw's Strut' by Harriet Henry"; a wild contrived story of a girl whose father apparently died and left her mother and her poor, and she dreams of a much better life, and she gets a modeling job, and is befriended by an executive there, and she has romantic entanglements with two different men, and after many complications, she discovers that the executive is actually her long lost father, and she picks one of the two men to marry) starring Constance Bennett, Ben Lyon, Richard Bennett, Dorothy Peterson, and Ray Milland NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: fine. This glass slide is in really excellent condition, and we feel that EVERY collector would be happy to own it. It IS possible it may have a MINOR defect or defects, but nothing at all significant. But we bet many dealers would call items in this grade "mint" or "near mint"! Learn More about condition grades
