Came hordes of green monsters!!"; "The Martians are coming!"; "Photographed in Color") starring Helena Carter, Arthur Franz, Jimmy Hunt, Leif Erickson, Hillary Brooke, Morris Ankrum, Max Wagner, Bill Phipps, Milburn Stone, and Janine Perreau NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. The title card has tiny pairs of staple holes around the edges with a few extra pairs of staple holes at upper center. There is some pencil writing in the upper center blank border and there is a thin horizontal scuff mark across the creature and star in red at upper left. All of the scene cards (except card #5) have varying amounts of of pinholes around the edges with several extra pairs of staple holes at upper center (that extend into the title area and black border). Card #2 has faint smudges around the edges and card #3 has some smudges at upper left and tiny paper loss at lower left. Card #4 has a few horizontal scuff marks at right and some pinholes at center. Card #5 has tiny pinholes at upper and lower center with a few light creases around the edges. Card #6 has a tiny pair of staple holes at center and a small tear at upper left. Card #7 has a partial footprint at right that extends into the credits, but only a tiny portion of the image (see our image). Card #8 has some light creases scattered in various areas. Overall the complete set has some defects that mainly affect the edges and some areas noted above, but otherwise the set has survived generally in pretty nice condition, and the cards have have no tape whatsoever on the front or back, and they never have had any restoration of any kind!
