A Face in the Fog, the 1936 Robert F. Hill theater stage play murder mystery thriller ("Peter B. Kyne's Impetuous Drama!"; "Adapted from Peter B. Kyne's 'The Great Mono Miracle'"; about a mysterious killer called "The Fiend", who is targeting the cast and crew of a play, and one of the actresses has the newspaper print that she saw his face, knowing that this will make her his next victim, and that leads to them capturing him) starring June Collyer, Lloyd Hughes, Lawrence Gray, Al 'Fuzzy' St. John (billed as "Al St. John"), and Jack Mulhall. Note that the plot of this movie clearly borrows heavily from the classic book, movie, and play "The Phantom of the Opera", but it is very low budget, and they never even show the "fog" from the title!
