La Route Heureuse (released in English-speaking countries as "The Happy Road"), the 1936 Georges Lacombe French romantic melodrama (about a young woman from the city, who marries and moves to the country, where her husband lives, and she finds she does not like it and she becomes very depressed) starring Edwige Feuillere, Claude Dauphin, Andre Bacque, Rosine Derean, Yvonne Rozille, Charlotto Clasis, Nane Chaubert, Maurice Maillot, Jerome Goulven, and Elio Sannangelo (billed as "Le Petit Sannangelo")

Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this French movie, which we have never auctioned before (and we are currently also auctioning a French two-panel, and these two are the only posters from this movie that we have ever auctioned). Also note that this is an extremely rare pre-World War II French poster! Virtually no French posters survive from before, during, or right after World War II. Apparently there were many paper shortages in France during World War II, resulting in the destruction of almost all pre-World War II posters! Also note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this French movie! Also note that this French four-panel measures 91 1/2" x 122" [232 x 310 cm]. Finally, note that this French four-panel was printed in 4 sections designed to overlap.
