An Original Vintage Theatrical 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Laura, the classic 1944 Otto Preminger (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) romantic love triangle crime film noir ("The story of a love that became the most fearful thing that ever happened to a woman!"; "Adapted from the novel by Vera Caspery"; about a detective investigating the death of a gorgeous woman, and he wishes he could have known her, and then it turns out she's not dead after all!) starring Gene Tierney (in the title role as Laura Hunt), Dana Andrews, Clifton Webb (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Vincent Price, Judith Anderson, and Lane Chandler NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good to very good. There is a long faint partial diagonal crease at upper right, but it is mostly only noticeable when the still is tilted to the light. The still was printed slightly off center, which causes the image to be at a slight. This was a somewhat common printing defect in vintage stills, and most collectors do not consider it a major defect if it is only slightly off center as it is in this case.
