Ross annual book pictorial directory of stage, screen, radio, and television people. It gives a 27-page alphabetical index of all the people listed within, and then everyone in it received one-fifth of a page with a 1 1/2" x 2" black & white photo headshot, and information about their agent and their experience. We imagine that this was a publication that you paid to be included in (they charged so much per person, and only people who paid were included). No doubt casting people at the time would look through this book to find suggestions of people to cast. If anyone knows more about this publication, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Important Added Info: What is really fascinating about this book is that the person who owned it made an effort to find the people in the book and get them to sign by their entry, and they found a staggering ONE HUNDRED TWENTY ONE of the people! So this book has 121 signatures in it, and of course, someone could cut them out of the book and display them, or leave the book just as it is. We have provided images of all 121 signatures (some are on the auction itself, and some you will need to click on our link to view on a separate page). Condition: good to very good. There is scuffing on the covers and staining around the edges. There was something taped to the inside front and back blank pages and the spine is somewhat weak, but the pages are not loose.
