An Original 1946 (from the aborted first release of this movie in Denmark; see below) Vintage Theatrical Folded Danish Movie Poster (measures 24 1/4" x 33 1/2" [62 x 85 cm]) (Learn More) Walt Disney's Pinocchio, the classic 1940 Hamilton Luske & Ben Sharpsteen Walt Disney animated animation puppet cartoon musical fantasy adventure ("Hi-Diddle Dee Dee!"; "Full length feature production"; "Jiminy Cricket - what a show!"; "In Multiplane Technicolor") featuring the voices of Dickie Jones (in the title role as Pinocchio), Cliff Edwards (as Jiminy Cricket), Christian Rub (as Gepetto), Evelyn Venable (as the Blue Fairy), Mel Blanc, Walter Catlett (as J. Worthington Foulfellow), Frankie Darro (as Lampwick), and Charles Judels (as Stromboli) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a very unusual poster! It is dated 1946 in the lower left, which is when this movie was supposed to open in Denmark (right after the end of World War II), but for some reason, it ended up not being first released there until 1950 (at which time a new poster with different art was created). So this poster from the aborted 1946 release is extremely rare, and when it has been sold, it has sold for far more than the 1950 poster! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.
UPDATED 11/30/2015: Note that we have updated the Important Added Info section. Condition: good to very good. The entire poster has darkened. It has tiny paper loss in three blank corners and 1" of separation in the center of the bottom fold, and a 1" tear in the top center of the poster, and three small tears in the top blank border. It once had small pieces of tape on the back of parts of the borders, where the poster was attached to a mat, but they are long gone, and they left stains on the back, but it does not affect the front. Otherwise, the poster is in nice condition. The poster can certainly be displayed and enjoyed as it is, or one could have it linenbacked, and afterwards, it would look even better!
