An Original 1961 Vintage Theatrical Kraftbacked Italian One-Panel Movie Poster (measures approximately 39" x 55") (Learn More) La Furia di Ercole (released in the U.S. in 1963 as "The Fury of Hercules"), the 1962 Gianfranco Parolini Italian/French sword-and-sandal adventure fantasy thriller starring Brad Harris (in the title role as Ercole/Hercules), Brigitte Corey, Mara Berni, Elke Arendt, Sergio Ciani (billed as "Alan Steel"), Carlo Tamberlani, Serge Gainsbourg, and Irena Prosen NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this Italian one-panel measures approximately 39" x 55" and is folded. Also note that this is a rare "country of origin" poster for this Italian movie! This poster has been kraftbacked, which means it was backed onto a brown paper soon after it was printed (this process is called "kraft-backing", and posters with it are called "kraft-backed"). One could have it professionally removed from the kraft paper and linenbacked, and it would look great! Condition: good. prior to being kraftbacked, the poster had lots of tears and creases along most foldlines and pinholes around the edges; there is a censor stamp in the top right corner of the image. The kraftbacking somewhat minimized these defects, but the poster would look far better if it were properly linenbacked! This item is in "lesser" condition (what many dealers would describe as "good" or "good to very good", or in the case of items with major defects, which should be easily seen on our large images, "fair")! It has clear defects, which are likely to be very noticeable in our "large" or "super-sized" images that you can click on from our small image at right (although some of the defects may not be so easily seen in the images). Therefore, in addition to the images, we have also noted in words what these defects are in our "Description of Defects" section above. We know that some collectors could accept this item's defects, and display it as is, and we also know that many collectors would only be happy with this item if they had it restored, so please do not bid on it unless you can accept it as it is, or are willing to pay to have it properly restored.
