An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Movie Window Card (WC; measures 14" x 17 1/4" [36 x 44 cm]) (Learn More)

The City Gone Wild, the 1927 James Cruze silent romantic love triangle underworld gang crime murder lawyer legal melodrama (a story that was likely old in 1927, but always enjoyable, about a lawyer who defends top criminals, but then, when his friend is murdered by them, he decides to go after the crooks!) starring Thomas Meighan, Marietta Millner, Louise Brooks, Fred Kohler, Duke Martin, and Nancy Philips. Note that this movie is largely forgotten today, except by major film buffs. Even then, it is best remembered for having an early film appearance by cult star Louise Brooks. Note that this is a "lost" film, which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned four lobby cards and a still from this movie until we received this window card! Also note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 14" x 17 1/4" [36 x 44 cm].

Condition: very good. Part of the card's top blank border was trimmed off. It has a few tiny scuffs scattered throughout the image, but is otherwise in nice condition.
