Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Teaser One-Sheet Movie Poster (27" x 41") (Learn More) Return of the Jedi (now known as "Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi"), the classic 1983 Richard Marquand outer space science fiction (sci-fi) action adventure epic sequel ("Return to a galaxy far, far away!"; "The Saga Continues"; "The movie everyone's been waiting for!"; written and produced by George Lucas) starring Mark Hamill (as Luke Skywalker), Harrison Ford (as Han Solo), Carrie Fisher (as Princess Leia), Billy Dee Williams (as Lando Calrissian), Anthony Daniels ("as C-3PO"), David Prowse (as the man in the Darth Vader suit), Kenny Baker (as R2-D2), Peter Mayhew (as Chewbacca), Frank Oz (as the voice of Yoda), James Earl Jones (as the voice of Darth Vader), and Alec Guinness (as Obi-Wan Kenobi) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Drew Struzan Important Added Info: This poster was consigned from a collector who bought this poster from Backlot Books in Hollywood soon after the movie came out. When the collector bought it, it was tri-folded only, and the collector had it linenbacked to have it framed. I am 100% sure it is original. A couple of years ago I was consigned a group of posters from a collector who obtained them DIRECTLY from NSS, and included in that collection was a "Revenge of the Jedi" one-sheet, and that poster also measured EXACTLY 27 1/8"x 40 1/2", and that poster was also only tri-folded! Also note that this is a rare teaser one-sheet (note the "Coming May 25, 1983 to your galaxy." on the poster). Condition: very good to fine. Note that this poster has never been folded! Most studios stopped folding posters somewhere around 1980, for a while offering theaters their choice of folded or unfolded posters. But please be aware that this poster was actually used in a theater, so it almost surely has light creases caused by rolling and unrolling the poster. If you are very condition conscious, then you should not bid on this poster, as it is sure to have at least some minor imperfections (we have given a brief description of the poster's defects in our condition grading above). But if you can accept minor defects, this is a great opportunity to purchase this poster (and any of the other 1000+ one-sheets we are currently selling on eBay!). very minor creases throughout the poster (mostly around the edges) and a few light scuffs within the image area (from rolling and unrolling) Learn More about condition grades
