An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Pressbook (pb; measures 12" x 18" [30 x 46 cm]; 12 pages) (Learn More) Quest for the Lost City, the 1954 Dana Lamb Mexico Guatemala incredible true-life jungle adventure documentary ("Two Alone wander into the unknown!"; "Two Alone hacking through 1000 miles of hostile jungle!"; "Based upon the book and experiences of Dana and Ginger Lamb"; "Unbelievable yet absolutely true! 'We walked 1000 miles through the hostile jungle... To make this incredible discovery!'"; "Two alone into the unknown - through a tunnel of stone!"; "With pitch-pine torches... we entered the great cave... total darkness... for six endless days... and nights!"; about a husband and wife exploring team who traveled down to the western edge of Mexico and after TEN years of searching through Mexican and Guatemalan jungles and deserts, finally found the lost city they had been searching for all that time!) narrated by Hal Gibney & Tom Harmon, and featuring Dana & Ginger Lamb. We don't know what else this couple accomplished in their lifetime, because we could not find other information about them, but it appears that this is their only movie, so they are not like the two famous married couples that made African movies (Armand Denis and his two wives, and Martin Johnson and his wife Osa). If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have provided an image of the front and back covers of this pressbook (if the back cover is not the poster page, we photographed the interior poster page), and of course, the winner of this auction will receive the entire single pressbook we are auctioning (plus any supplements or heralds described above)! Also note that this pressbook is complete and uncut! Given that theater owners purchased pressbooks partly in order to create their newspaper advertising, and quite frequently cut them up for that purpose, it is rare to find a pressbook that IS complete and uncut! Condition: good to very good, NO CUTS. The pressbook is complete and uncut. It was folded across the middle and there is some wear around the edges and along the fold.
