An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Style A One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Christmas in July, the classic 1940 Preston Sturges romantic screwball comedy (about a lowly office worker who is deceived into believing he has won a major contest and he quits his job and goes on a spending spree, but he really hasn't won, but everything magically works out in the end!) starring Dick Powell, Ellen Drew, Raymond Walburn, William Demarest, Ernest Truex, and Al Bridge. If you like Preston Sturges movies, you are certain to really like this one! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: fair to good. The poster is fragile and has tears and tiny paper loss at the crossfolds. There were many pinholes and ters around the edges of the poster. There was paper loss in each of the four corners and 4" of separation at the top of the vertical foldline. Someone took white tape and clear tape and put it on the back of the above areas, and they put white tape on the front and back of each corner. While the poster has many real defects, it is true that after linenbacking by a talented professional, the poster will look great and it won't require very much paint restoration within the image.
