An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36" [36 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) Fast Life, the 1929 John Francis Dillon courtroom legal lawyer crime mistaken identity romantic love triangle melodrama (about a man who has a pretty young wife, and another man flirts with her and he is accused of killing that man, and after a trial, he is sentenced to death, but at the last moment, it is revealed that he did not kill the man, but the real killer was the governor's son; after that revelation, the falsely accused man is freed, and the governor is so angry that he kills his own son!; they don't make them like they used to!) starring Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Loretta Young, Chester Morris, William Holden (no, not THAT William Holden, but another actor of the same name who made 20 movies between 1920 and 1931, and he died the next year, which was 7 years before the more famous William Holden made his first movie!), and Frank Sheridan. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that ANY movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a window card, a lobby card, and a few stills from this movie until we received this insert! Also note that this poster has never been machine folded! Some pre-1970 insert posters were machine folded twice horizontally at the poster exchange, while some were not. It can be difficult to find an unfolded example of many pre-1970 insert posters (note that most post-1970 inserts were NOT machine folded, so they are pretty much only found unfolded, and therefore this does not apply to those inserts). Finally, note that because this insert was printed on a slightly heavier paper, it makes far more sense for it to be sent in a large flat package than rolled in a tube, because we are afraid that rolling it could cause damage to it, and we would hate for that to happen! We will only send it rolled in a tube if the buyer insists, and accepts full responsibility in case there is any damage to it. Condition: good to very good. The poster has faint smudges and darkening down the left and right sides, with some very light rippling in parts of those areas. It has faint smudges in the center, in Young's cheek and some faint other smudges scattered in the image. Because the defects are mostly in the blank borders, the poster absolutely can be displayed and enjoyed as it is, or certainly, one might choose to have slight restoration performed (likely without backing the poster), but either way, this extremely rare poster would display wonderfully on its new owner's wall!
