The theater was opened by Charles Cooper, James Quinn, Brian O'Sullivan, and Ralph Stevenson and showed mainly contemporary foreign films. Initially it captured the near-by Bohemian audience, but with the "Swinging Sixties", it caught the mood of the time and became a first class arthouse for a wider audience. The theater was closed in 1983. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
