She starred in the series of "Torchy Blane" movies and worked mostly at Warner Bros. She and Joan Blondell appeared together in a series of six movies, where they played a pair of good hearted showgirls who get in trouble, that started with "Havana Widows", and all of of them were quite popular at the box office! Some of her other movies include: I Am a Fugitive from a Chain Gang, The Talk of the Town, and Lady for a Day. She passed away in 1971 at the age of 69. Important Added Info: Note that these stills all feature a specific actor or actress (sometimes portraits, but often in a scene from a movie that they were in). They come from the collection of Ken Jones, who was an author of many books about old-time actors, including many character actors. He collected on all the stars that he enjoyed, and this is a rare opportunity to get a number of stills at one time from this specific star! Condition: very good.
