A Linenbacked Danish Travel Poster (measures 24" x 40" [61 x 102 cm]) (Learn More) Scandinavian Airlines System: Germany, the 1950s or 1960s (see below) Danish airline aviation airplane travel poster promoting travel to Germany aboard Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) and featuring art of a castle by Otto Nielson. Note that there are two versions of this poster, one has a silhouette of an airplane in the center and the other has the airplane in the top-center, and we think the one with the silhouette in the center is from the 1950s and the other dates from the 1960s. Artist: Otto Nielsen Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was never folded. It had writing on the back of the top left corner that very slightly bled through to the front. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking.
