Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) The Adventures of Sir Galahad, the 1949 Spencer Gordon Bennett Camelot sword-and-sorcery medieval fantasy adventure serial ("Boldest Knight of the Round Table"; "Giant Arrows Strike!"; "Hazardous journey!"; "A Columbia Serial") starring George Reeves (in the title role "as Sir Galahad"), Nelson Leigh ("as King Arthur"), William Fawcett ("as Merlin"), Hugh Prosser ("as Sir Lancelot"), Lois Hall ("as the Lady of the Lake"), Ray Corrigan, and Marjorie Strapp (as Queen Guinevere). Of course, after just one more movie, George Reeves starred in the pilot for TV's "The Adventures of Superman", which made him a major star! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: fine. The slide and holder are in about as good condition as can be expected (there is just slight aging to the holder). See below for a scan of the slide and a separate scan of the holder. Learn More about condition grades
