An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Old Home Week, the 1925 Victor Heerman silent mistaken identity oil well swindler melodrama ("As suggested by George Ade's story"; about a not very successful man who returns to his home town and pretends to be rich, and he is given the key to the city, but then he is duped by swindlers with a fake oil well, which could cost the town plenty, but everything works out in the end) starring Thomas Meighan, Lila Lee, Charles Dow Clark, Max Figman, Charles Sellon, and Joseph Smiley. Note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).
