Black Narcissus, the 1947 Michael Powell & Emeric Pressburger English religious Catholic relationship melodrama ("A story to storm your heart!"; "Drama at the top of the world... where the winds of the exotic past sweep men and women to a strange and fascinating adventure..."; "Adapted from the novel by Rumer Godden"; "Written Produced and Directed by Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger"; about nuns setting up convent in the Himalayas) starring Deborah Kerr (billed on English posters as "[By arrangement with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer]"; billed on U.S. posters as "M.G.M. star of 'Hucksters' fame"), Sabu, David Farrar, Flora Robson, Esmond Knight, Jean Simmons, and Kathleen Byron. Note that this movie included some partially built sets that were completed through the judicious use of a matte painting, and the famous "cliff scene" was also filmed with the use of a matte painting!

Condition: good to very good. The title card has much tape on the back (not put there for any restoration purpose) that has creased the front at right. Card #2 has discoloration and pinholes around the edges (it is on "good" condition). Card #7 has discoloration, deterioration and paper loss at upper right and some other edge defects. Cards #5 and #8 have a faint ink pad stamp at upper right and some edge defects. The other scene cards are in pretty nice condition.
