An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Barry Sullivan was a stage and movie actor from the 1930s to the 1980s. He was the seventh son of a seventh son, which was considered very fortunate at that time! He was born in 1912, and he had minor jobs until he got a Broadway role in 1936, and he continued on Broadway until 1940, when he moved to Hollywood, but he did not have much success there, and he returned to New York, where he resumed acting on the stage. He never became a major star either on Broadway or in the movies, but he became a highly successful secondary actor, and perhaps his best role was in 1952's "The Bad and the Beautiful". He appeared in 79 movies and 105 TV shows, and many Broadway shows, over a 51 year period. He passed away in 1994 at the age of 81. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Barry Sullivan! Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahony Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him). Our consignor (and we) feel certain that the autograph on this still is authentic! Condition: very good to fine. Learn More about condition grades
