And I mean it!'"; "There never was a women like Gilda!") starring Rita Hayworth (in the title role "as Gilda"), Glenn Ford, George Macready, Joseph Calleia, Steven Geray, Joe Sawyer, Ludwig Donath, Robert Scott, and Gerald Mohr. Note that the sheath dress that Rita Hayworth wears in the movie (designed by Jean Louis) certainly contributed greatly to the popularity of this movie! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that while we do know that the ad was "Printed in U.S.A.", we do not know where and how this trade ad was used. It was found in South America, and might have been sent to South American theaters to try to get them to book this movie. It originally had writing on the other side, but it can no longer be read because it has been linenbacked. If anyone knows more about this ad, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: good to very good. The ad was folded across the middle and there was a second slightly diagonal fold just under the middle fold. There was surface paper loss on those two folds and some scuffs in the black background. Overall, the ad was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking.
