Date Sold 9/24/2024 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. 4 Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" [20 x 25 cm] Movie Stills (Learn More) Safety in Numbers, the 1930 Victor Schertzinger romantic musical inheritance comedy (about a handsome young man about to inherit many millions, but he loves writing songs, and he goes to New York and he meets three beautiful chorus girls who share an apartment, and naturally, he falls in love with one of them) starring Charles 'Buddy' Rogers, Kathryn Crawford, Josephine Dunn, Carole Lombard (very young in this role!), Roscoe Karns, and Richard Tucker. Note that the title refers to the three girls sharing an apartment because they feel there is "safety in numbers" from all the wolves in New York, and also note that the movie "How to Marry a Millionaire" "borrowed" heavily from the plot of this movie. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have pictured the backs of these stills (see our images). Three have an ink pad stamp on back that reads "Photograph by E.A. Schoenbaun" and one has "Photography by Gene Robert Richee"! Condition: very good. Each has slightly lightened and they have a few light creases. The still pictured at lower right has a thin semi-circular scuff above Rogers' image, but it is not very noticeable or distracting.
