Stedenko") NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Scakisbrick Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this half subway poster! Note that this is the very first one-sheet for this classic comedy. In this original campaign, the tagline says, "DON'T go straight to see this movie!" Paramount was accused of promoting drug use, and issued all-new posters with a new tagline! Also note that around this time, studios were creating "subway posters" for many releases, which were 45" x 60" horizontally-shaped posters that were glued up on walls all over New York City (hence the name "subway poster"). They also made these smaller "subway" posters which measure approximately half the size of a regular "subway" poster (usually around 29" x 45"), and look like a one-sheet, only bigger, but they have information about one or more specific New York theaters then-currently showing that movie. Condition: very good to fine. The poster was likely never used and has minor fold and border wear. Learn More about condition grades
