An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Joseph Cotten was an actor from the 1930s to the 1980s. He often worked with Orson Welles and some of his movies include: Citizen Kane, The Third Man, Touch of Evil, Duel in the Sun, Shadow of a Doubt, and Portrait of Jenny. While he never achieved top rank fame, he did note that "Orson Welles lists Citizen Kane as his best film, Alfred Hitchcock opts for Shadow of a Doubt and Sir Carol Reed chose The Third Man - and I'm in all of them." He passed away in 1994 at the age of 88. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Joseph Cotten! Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahony Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him).
