An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Joseph Cotten was an actor from the 1930s to the 1980s. He often worked with Orson Welles and some of his movies include: Citizen Kane, The Third Man, Touch of Evil, Duel in the Sun, Shadow of a Doubt, and Portrait of Jenny. While he never achieved top rank fame, he did note that "Orson Welles lists Citizen Kane as his best film, Alfred Hitchcock opts for Shadow of a Doubt and Sir Carol Reed chose The Third Man - and I'm in all of them." He passed away in 1994 at the age of 88. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Joseph Cotten! Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahony Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him). Our consignor (and we) feel certain that the autograph on this still is authentic! Also note that this still measures 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm]. Condition: very good to fine.
