An Original 1941 (from the first release of this movie in Spain) Vintage Theatrical Spanish Movie Herald (measures 3 1/4" x 6 1/4" [8 x 16 cm]) (Learn More) Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the classic 1937 David Hand Walt Disney animated animation family romantic fairy-tale fantasy musical cartoon ("His first full length feature production"; "In the Marvelous Multiplane Technicolor"; "Behold The Miracle of the Movies! Coming to amaze you, charm you, thrill you!"; "With Eight new songs as catching as 'The Big Bad Wolf.'"; "To thrill you"; "Merriment!"; "Melody!"; "Magic!"; "The dwarfs sing their marching song on the way to work."; "Walt Disney's first full length feature production"; "The show sensation of the generation!"; "Wondrously filmed in all the glories of the marvelous multiplane Technicolor"; "The Screen's Supreme Thrill! 1,000 artists worked three years to give you this once-in-a-lifetime show!... A full hour and a half of the most enthralling entertainment you ever experienced... truly the miracle in motion pictures!") featuring the voices of Adriana Caselotti (in the title role as Snow White), Harry Stockwell (as the Prince), Lucille La Verne, Moroni Olsen, and Stuart Buchanan. Note that this movie is always referred to as a "1937" movie, but it actually only had a limited opening in December 1937 (no doubt to qualify for the Oscars), and then it had its wide opening in February 1938. But because it is always referred to as being from 1937, we refer to it that way as well (and of course, it is technically correct). NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this Spanish herald comes with one of the coolest additions we have ever seen for any promotional item like this! They are seven triangular paper dwarfs that have semi-circular areas at the top. Each is like an "ice cream cone" in that they are paper bags in a triangular shape. We imagine they are finger puppets, because you can put your finger in the top of the bag and play with them, either one at a time or with all seven on seven different fingers! We also don't know if they were given out with heralds, but that's how these came to us, and no matter how they were used, they sure are really cool! Also note that in the past we thought this herald was from a re-release of this movie, because it lacked the RKO distributor credit. But this is a rare case where the movie's first Spanish distribution was by Filmofono, and its second release was through RKO (we had it backwards in the past). This is the first release Spanish herald from 1941! Also note that when Spanish heralds have printing on the back, we picture both sides, but when they are blank on the back, we only picture the front. Condition: good to very good. The herald has color printing on both sides and has some bleed-through on both sides. The finger puppets described above are in really nice condition (see our images).
