Date Sold 7/9/2023 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 6 unfolded French stage posters from La Danse Des Libellules (literally translates to "The Dance of the Dragonflies"), the 1926 French operetta featuring music created by the composer Franz Lehar. Note that this poster features art of a partially nude winged-woman dancing by Georges Dola. Note that this lot contains images with nudity, so we have placed white bars over those areas, for those who are bothered by such images. Of course, the actual items do not have those white bars! Measurements: 24" x 31 1/2"Note that this is one of five lots (in five separate auctions) from a consignor who has multiples of each poster. He knows that he could get more money auctioning them one at a time, but he wants to sell them all at once, so he doesn't wait for his money! So this may be a wonderful opportunity for a dealer or collector to purchase all five and resell some number of them, and likely get at least one for "free", and probably make money besides. We photographed all of them because they are in somewhat varying condition, and they are quite old and we wanted bidders to get to see each poster in this lot. Condition: good.
