If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that original 1934 U.S. movie posters from this movie are incredibly rare! We have only previously auctioned a first release one-sheet and window card from this movie, and now we have this really cool half-sheet, which we have never auctioned before! Also note that a talented restorer gel backed the poster (meaning they backed the poster onto a gel material) and they then performed excellent restoration to the above defects, and then removed the gel backing, so that the poster still exactly looks and feels like an original poster (and it is!), with no backing at all. The restoration was done really well, and the poster displays really well! Condition: good to very good. The poster was gel backed . This particular poster was never folded. It had some creases, smudges, and tears around the edges, and a few scattered in the image. The poster was gel backed by a talented professional and expert restoration was performed to the above defects. The poster looked fantastic after it was gel backed, but afterward, it was roughly handled, and it acquired tiny paper loss in the bottom left blank corner and in the top right blank corner. It also acquired a 1 1/2" tear near the middle of the bottom border, and a 1" tear and tiny paper loss near the center of the top border, with a 2" tear near the center of the left border. These tears and tiny paper loss could certainly be easily restored by a talented professional, and of course, they would barely show if the poster is displayed as it is. But the poster is fragile, and could easily acquire additional tears if it is not handled well. Learn More about condition grades
