She is best remembered for her roles in several English Hammer horror films, including Countess Dracula and The Vampire Lovers. She also had a memorable role in Where Eagles Dare, opposite Clint Eastwood and Richard Burton, and she was the librarian in the original version of The Wicker Man. She passed away in 2010 at the age of 73. Important Added Info: Note that this card has been personally autographed (signed) by Ingrid Pitt! Our consignor obtained this autograph through Miss Pitt's fan club (it was sent to him by Simone Trace, who was replying for Ingrid Pitt, who was in the hospital; see our image of the paper that Trace gave out explaining what had happened, and that Miss Pitt refused to have Trace sign for her). He does not have a certificate of authenticity, but we are certain the signature is authentic. As is true of all the signed items we are currently auctioning, we give every buyer 30 days in which to review what they purchased and they can return any item as long as it is within 30 days of the end of the auction.
