An Original 1965 (from the first release of this movie in Poland) Vintage Theatrical Folded Polish Movie Poster (23x33; measures 22 1/2" x 32 1/2" [57 x 83 cm]) (Learn More) I basilischi (literally translates to "The Basilisks"), the 1963 Lina Wertmuller Italian best-friends-in-a-small-town melodrama (about three young men in a small town who are unemployed and spend their time chasing women; one gets a chance to move to Rome with this wealthy relatives, and he goes, but he returns to visit, and realizes he was happier in the small town) starring Antonio Petruzzi, Stefano Satta Flores, Sergio Ferranino, Luigi Barbieri, and Flora Carabella. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Note that this was director Lina Wertmuller's first movie (both as a director and as a writer). It has marked similarities to American Graffiti, and one wonders if George Lucas didn't surely see this movie before directing that one! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
