A Vintage Hardcover Book (measures 6 1/2" x 9" [17 x 23 cm]; 20 pages) (Learn More) A Day With Our Gang, the 1929 Eleanor Lewis Packer Whitman Publishing illustrated book ("The merry rascals of Our Gang appear exclusively in Hal Roach Comedies"; "Pictures by STAX"; "'Romping through the Hal Roach comedies'") that explains how the Our Gang actors (Allen 'Farina' Hoskins, Joe Cobb, Bobby 'Wheezer' Hutchins, Harry Spear, Jean Darling, Mary Ann Jackson) spend the day. Note that a dotted line is drawn at the spine side of each illustrated page, and the title page has the following on it: "Please note the line on the binding side on every large picture, put there to make it easy for you to cut out your favorite picture for framing". This indicates that they wanted people to tear the books apart, which means it is all that more rare to find a complete copy, as this one is! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: fair. There is much staining on the inside front cover and the title page, but the other pages don't have staining. There is a much lesser amount of staining on the covers.
