Such events include: World War I (WWI), Napoleon Bonaparte in exile on Saint Helena, Joan of Arc on her way to Chinon, and many more Artist: Jacques Onfroy de Breville Important Added Info: Note that this poster has a tagline of Vercingetorix se Rend a Cesar (literally translates to "Vercingetorix goes to Cesar"). Vercingetorix was a king and chieftain of the Arverni tribe (a Celtic tribe located in what is today the French Auvergne region) and he united the Gauls in a revolt against Roman forces during Julius Caesar's Gallic Wars. However, at the Battle of Alesia, the Romans besieged and defeated his forces, and in order to save as many of his men as possible, he surrendered to Caesar. He was held prisoner for five years before being executed by strangulation as part of Caesar's triumph celebration. What IS linenbacking?
